    Ceramic coating sidepipes

I have a set of ceramic coated side pipes. The finish on them seems to be average at best. I purchased from a forum member for a good price but i was wondering what the cost of coating them usually runs and who do you guys recommend to coat them. I'm in Louisiana if that helps.

I had mine done by a place in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago called Lo-Ko. They blasted my FFR four-into-four headers (came silver finished) and coated those and the side pipes - four pieces, total - for just over $400. But, that was maybe 6 years or so ago, but worth checking around. Try to find somewhere local to you where you can drop them off rather than shipping, which will probably double the price between inbound and outbound costs.
    Later,

I've tried those guys in Slidell.. only silver and black. That's what I'm up against locally. Apparently the high shine application requires some other equipment.

I've used Jet-Hot Coatings before, but they no longer have a shop in Mississippi.
They really were top notch and had tons of finish options.
Their shop in Pascagoula got washed away with Katrina.
They are still in Oklahoma and North Carolina.

Yep. Jet hot is one of my options. I'm just trying to find somewere in driving distance to save on shipping. There used to be 2 places in the Lafayette area, they have both shut down. I'll try lake Charles and see what they have near there.
