    Brake Calipers 97 vs 99+

I had planned to use the 97 Mustang GT calipers that I had from my donor car, however I just mounted d the wheels for the first time and see I have very little clearance on the caliper.

On looking at the FFR specs for the Halibrand Replica wheels I see it has fits 99-04 front calipers.

Is there a significant difference in the clearance when using the 99+ calipers ?

the 97 is single piston while the 99 is 2 piston. As long as you have clearance you are OK. As the brakes are using the caliper will move inwards

Thanks Gordon, I may make up a 1/16" spacer just to be comfortable as it is the caliper bracket that has very little clearance. I was just concerned that the 99+ calipers may have been considerably thinner.
