    Irratic Speedhut tach.

    Ever since I installed the new electronic Speedhut tach, it go wild above 4000 rpm. Have re-routed the plug wires to no avail. It is obviously an interference problem of sort. Anyone else seen the problem? Have not called speedhut yet. Maybe a filter?

    There is a filter module that Speedhut supplies that will calm down the tach. Works like a charm. I have one in mine. Talk to their support folks.

    Just got the phone with Speedhut tech support and they are shipping out a filter today. Great customer support.
