Help with F5 rear caliper
I have the factory five rear brake kit(not willwood) In the box wit the pads came some metal pieces and screws. As far as I know the brake pads just snap into the calipers. Does anyone know what the screws and metal are for. I have attached a picture that shows the caliper, brake pads, two screws and the extra metal. IMG_1837.JPGIMG_1837.JPG. Thanks as usual for your help.

The screws hold the caliper section to the mounting section which attaches to the suspension. you might already have these bolts installed so they will be extras.
There should be rubber boots that fit over the screws (bolts) to prevent dirt from causing them to stick as the pad wears down.
The metal shims clip onto the caliper to provide a surface for the pads to slide on.

Thanks. Do the feet of the shim go down or up in relation to my picture? Do the feet face in towards the pad or out the other way?
