Getting body and firewall all in the right place.

What's the best way, since the firewall has to sit just right to the body edge? Do I install the firewall centered and properly placed then let the body fall correctly to it? Or should I get the body in the right place then let the firewall fall where it may? Well that affect the lower corners placement and other aluminum thereafter?

Tips and points would be appreciated. Or a point to the right thread (I looked through all threads here and didn't see one, but I have been accused of being blind, plus I'm kinda watch Christmas vacation right now so I'm a little distracted. Lol)

Have you seen these posts? I keep a bookmark folder called 'mods' and keep anything useful in there for later:

Here are the firewall notch threads I kept.

Usudno, one of my favorites! Lol.

Good deal. I didn't find another in south Louisiana a before I started.

Road racer, thanks for the links. I found what I needed (about notching the firewall) in the second one. I think I'm going to set the body on next week and see it for myself, maybe even give Tim a call.

    SVT,
Read this thread called "Dangerous Curves Ahead" it has a lot of good info on getting the body centered & square.
