seat replacement with headrest for roadster

I am looking to replace my roadster seats with seats that have a headrest support. I am trying to keep as much of the classic look of the car so I am trying to stay away from the real tall race seats. Has anyone replaced their seats with something that looks a bit like the originals but has a bit of a headrest? Thanks Dave

You could just add roll bar mounted headrests (and keep your current seats). I do not have them, but a search on the forum should yield some results.

I don't know if these will fit in a MK-4 Roadster, but a friend of mine has them in his 1966 Mustang and they are quite nice.

You can get them in leather, vinyl or fabric.

Not having something to keep my head from smacking the rollbar if I got rear ended wasn't an option for me so I looked into a few different seat options. I ended up settling on these. The headrests themselves are very nice, the brackets were waterjet cut and needed a bit of cleanup.

    Thanks Misterfubar,

Do you have the MK4 FactoryFive? What seats were you considering?

Anything wider than 20 inches across the base and shoulder "wings" presents locating challenges. Check out the offerings from Sube Sports:

I have Clubmans and love them but they are definitely not a traditional look. For something a bit more original looking with headrests you might consider their
    Classic CS:

    Or Classic RS:

    Or Classis RSR:

    Thanks Jeff,

Will these fit the MK4. Based on the measurements I had it did not look like it. If so this would be the way to go.

I believe this is who made the seats for my anniversary Mk4. They have some classic seats that should work for you. They include measurements to help you decide.

Which seats did you install in your FF Mk4? Do they have the headrests?
