    Rear IRS brake rotor play

When I was mounting my rear wheels today I noticed I had a lot of play in on to rotors. Is this normal?IMG_0249.JPGIMG_0250.JPG

Sure looks odd. However, once the wheels are tightened down, play around the wheel studs doesn't matter. I'm assuming these are the standard rotors from a Mustang donor. I replaced mine with the Wilwood brake upgrade but I don't recall the old rotors with that much play. The center hub makes the rotor concentric so it will run a true circle.

ALL of my brand new rotors on the 33 have that much play - the FFR kit ones and the new rotors I added to my 8.8.

TBH, this looks normal to me.

These are new rotors. Part of the IRS kit from FFR. It may not be a big deal. Just seems like they would shift back-and-forth.

They won't shift with the wheels installed and the lug nuts torqued down. As long as the center hole is a decent fit and they run true as mentioned, there shouldn't be an issue.

The standard Mustang lugs are, I think, 14mm. Remember you replaced them w/ the 1/2 inch that came in the kit? This accounts for the difference.
