Need Help Finding a Harness Pigtail

I'm using a '99 donor, which I stripped myself. The donor had taken a hit in the rear which meant limited access to the fuel tank and no way to disconnect the harness from the fuel pump/sender.

I'm sending the harness to Art for dieting, but need to find the male side of the pigtail that connects to the fuel pump harness.

The picture below shows the female side, which comes off of the fuel pump hat. I need the male counterpart, which is part of the harness.

If anyone has one or knows of a source to get one, I'd be most appreciative.

    Thanks,

    Shep

Shep, this looks like the connector you need. The short number is WPT712 and the long number is 3U2Z-14S411-EBAA it should be available from your local ford dealer.

Bill - close but no cigar! Looks like that's for the air flow sensor. Thanks though.

Ollie - Connectorexperts replied within 15 minutes, said it's their CE8015M connector. $78 plus $14 for shipping, looks like the piggy bank's getting robbed again!

    Thanks all.

Go to a salvage yard and cut one out of a wreck.

That's where I'm heading next week, though they absolutely hate it when you cut up harnesses.

Have you checked here: http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/f...onnector,13066. Here's the search from the other part number: http://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearc...3U2Z14S411EBAA

Don't cut it up, trace it back to the next connection and take that.

    Ray

PS: If you can't find one let me know. I have 4 or 5 yards around me and I haven't been on a part-hunt in quite a while.

I'm not getting gray, I'm adding chrome....

connectorexperts appear to have a great selection but their prices seem out of line: $72 for a 3 pin weatherpack?

The yards around here don't let you go searching unattended. You tell them what you need, then they go get it for you. No more searching for treasure on your own.

Looking at the prices on connectorexperts leads me to believe I spent 40 years in the wrong business!

I pulled two pairs. 1- from a 2000 and the other from a '98. Got both ends and about 6-inches of wire. Figure one of them will work for youIMG_2587.JPG

I'd like to thank Shep for a great day spent "shopping." Haven't been in quite a while and it felt good to get out to the mall:Shopping.jpg My wife even went along and we both had a good day. Scrounged through several cars to see if anything good was left behind (not this trip) but lot's of "What's that?"

    Good day spent out doors.

    Ray,

Definitely owe you a cold one or whatever your poison is. While you were 'shopping', I was comfortably ensconced in a lounge chair, watching someone else work the grill and trying to make a dent in a fresh bottle of Makers Mark. Got back home late last night, responded to your PM, but never checked this post. Pretty sure the 2000 connector will do the trick.

    Thank you sir!

    Ray-

This is not my thread and I hope Shep doesn't mind me jumping in here, but I just had to step in and say how cool it was of you to do this! This forum is pretty cool, and what you did is just another example of the awesome people that come here. Nicely done Sir!

    Dave,

I haven't heard from Art yet so I'm going to mail the connectors to him tomorrow.

Gof a feeling Art's taking some time off. Haven't had any responses to my emails either.

    Thanks again Ray.
