Anyone register a car in FL

    Hi All,

I'm just starting down the path of building an 818s. As of now, I've only begun to get my donor parts together, thanks to the help of Very Cool Parts. Sooner or later I'll have to get the car registered in the state of FL. I was wondering if anyone has register their build in FL.

What was involved? How long did it take,? What were they looking for? Any tips? Is the car to be registered by engine year? Body year?

Any info and tips would be appreciated as I work my way through the build.

    Thanks
    grathke

I ran into some issues registering my roadster. I forgot all the info I had to provide them but the lady had no idea what she was doing. Go to one of the major DMVs and they will have more experience in these types of cars. I went to one of the remote locations and they were no help.

I transferred title from Ca to Fl in Vero Beach at the tax collectors office, it was the easiest thing. Don't forget your insurance card.
