33 Hot Rod Stage 1 Kit For Sale

I have come to the conclusion that with 2 children in college I will not be able to finish my 33 Hot Rod build anytime soon and would rather pass it on to someone who can.

I have for sale a 33 Hot Rod Stage 1 partially built kit ordered in 2014 and delivered Dec of the same year. The sheet metal has been drilled and fitted with clecos, the rear end is mounted, and the suspension and brakes are done.

Pics can be found at the following link https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=06c4781400

    In brief…

Stage 1 33 Hot Rod Kit
Wilwood Front and Rear Brake Upgrade
    Powder coated frame
    Coyote Engine Mounts
    3-Link Rear
    Paintable Tilt Steering Column
    AC Kit

    Separately Purchased and included
    Infinity Box Wiring System(formerly ISIS)
8.8 Rearend with 3.55 gears purchased from Mike Forte’s shop
2 20x10 TSW Jerez Matte Black w/stainless lip wheels with tires
2 18x8.5 TSW Jerez Matte Black w/stainless lip wheels with tires

    Asking $10,500

Call Will at 214-454-7729 with any questions
You can also email me at [email protected] or private message me on the forum.

Sorry to hear. I been building my roadster slowly. I too have kids in college. I buy parts slowly and when the wife says stop buying I stop. Then after a few months I start again until she says stop again. Happy wife happy life.
Just a thought your near gas monkey garage I wonder if he would give you what your asking . It would be cool to see a factory five get built on the show. BTW do they still have a Show?

I'm not sure if the show is still on or not after Aaron left.
Good idea however Richard is notorious for low balling around here, but worth checking out.
I suspect I'll sell and in about 5 or 6 years I will start again.
It kills me to look out in the garage and see it sitting....

My 2c: If you're not being forced financially, reconsider selling. It's ok to let it sit out there. I had a very long term project once and it went through years of dust sheet periods when circumstances dictated. Better that, than regret selling your work and your dream?

I agree with Road racer. Letting it sit for a while is fine. When u can't do anything plan small projects for when the time is right to work on it.

    Will,

FWIW, I'm on year 8 or 9 (lost count) with my Coupe. Through life circumstances I have also not been able to work on it.
But as other have mentioned if it doesn't eat any bread sit on it, and take the opportunities when you can to work on it.
Nobody but you says it has to be done now. And I say this after selling a kit that I wasn't finishing...
