    Just an Update

    Hey Gang,

I mostly read but throw some posts up when I can help. This forum is an outstanding resource and thank you all for your help. I figured I would just put some pictures up of my progress since my base kit arrived on Thanksgiving. Since I am your grassroots racin' kind of guy, this build has been on a budget which means some sweat equity and learning. Motor is from an 01 Mercury Mountaineer and the T5 needed a full rebuild. Funny story about the transmission - It took 10 hours to rebuild from start to finish. Then another 2 hours to fix it LOL. Live and learn.

Looks great, coming along nicely Scott. We all go thru a learning curve once or twice during these builds.

Looks great Scott! My eng. and trans. should be delivered tomorrow. I'll need help with the install in a week or so. John and Craig will be here you are invited also. I'll PM you when I'm ready. If you're on the other forum I have a build thread there.
