    18" rim fitment issue

I got my 18" Halibrand style wheels from FFR and I'm noticing they don't tuck under like my 17" ones? They are both 315 size tires. I have the Moser 8.8 rear. Anyone have any thoughts? Similar problem or solution? I'm guessing either narrower tires or have my rear end shortened. Attached is a photo of it from behind.

The 17" and 18" FFR wheels have different specs:

17"; 10.5" wide with 6.7" backspace and 27 MM offset
18"; 11" wide with 6.46" backspace and 12 MM offset.

Thanks Jeff. So, my issue is why did they not design them to tuck well with the 8.8? I'm disappointed with the stance now and I suppose need to either go back to the 17" or get my axle cut and narrowed by an inch or so.

I would guess because they are designed to be used with multiple rear ends. They work perfect with my IRS. Possibly they made them to work with those the best. Good luck getting it all squared away.
