There are other crimp tools around but this one has fairly
wide crimp which helps speed things up.

Nice. I've seen these tools used like this before, and the results were...less than stellar. Your work looks really good, though. Glad to see it must have been user sloppiness.

Nice, but if you relieved the sharp corners above and below the bead notcher on both sides, you would avoid those flattened areas on the tube. Then, the only part that really touches the pipe is the notcher. Just walk it along, moving it the width of the notch each time. You end up with a knobbly-looking notch, but nice round tubing above it.
