    First Start Video

    Hey gang!

So technically it's the second start, but the first with radiator hooked up where I can let it actually run. Around the 1:20 mark I adjusted the timing and it settled in to an idle I have been eager to hear for a long time.

Thank you everyone for your help.

One of the major milestones reached in our builds, and such a joy to hear it run. Congrats !

Thanks Scott. First time I ever held a real carburetor. I was expecting to have lots of cranking, electrical issues, and carb adjusting to do. But boy was I wrong. Just bolted the carb on and turned the key.

Hey Craig. I can use a hand getting my radiator properly mounted along with overflow. Need to check the weather though!

Tune in for a first start and the first thing I saw was that dirty-motor-before-shot. Scared me a little. Sounds beautiful, though!!
