I purchased this kit: https://godspeedproject.com/suspensi...-link-set.html
The spacers are about a good 1/8" too wide to fit. Before I machine them down, anyone else had this issue?

Wish these forums were a little more "searchable" but thank you for the quick response. I guess that's what I'll do. The grinder sure gets a workout building this car...
I bought the same product, with the same issue and just cut them down.
However, I notice you didn't get the trailing link with the kit.
Mine had the trailing link as well, which allows you to put the wheel right in the center of the wheelwell.
If you do purchase the trailing link, mount it with a bias towards the inside of the car when you cut the spacers to fit.
that will give you just a bit more clearance with the wheels.
My clearance is marginal on one side, and touches when cornering, so I need to move it over a bit.
