Tires for the 18in Hallabrand Wheels

What tires are be used on the FF 18 in wheels. I am ready to order tires and not finding a lot of options. Factory Five says the recommended tire size for the 18’s is - Front 255/35/zr18, Rear 315/30/zr18.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Goodrich Rival and Rival S. Same tire, not sure why they have different names.

    I have 315 rears and 255 front.

I haven't looked in a while, but last I checked there were two choices for matching front and rear.

    Goodrich and Toyo

I can say the Toyo r888r tires fit, Falkin rt615k tires would fit but the fronts will be a little wider, edwardb has used some of the Goodrich tires and from his pics they look good. Your ultimate choice will come come down to ultimate grip and tire life. With high power engines I would go with sticker tires, but for more regular cruising go with a more standard tire would be a better choice.

Was looking for the Goodrich rivals but they do not come in those sizes that I could find. Toyo’s were the only ones I could find.

Since your screen name includes "Snow", I assume you're from somewhere that is not very warm most times of the year? Out here in the West, most owners have found that their tires date codes expire long before the thread wears out. Therefore, my next set of 18's will be either NT01's or NT05's from Nitto. 100 thread wear but really sticky in our climate. Available in the sizes listed above but I would want to drive with them in any temp below 60* or so.

I'm running BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S 245/40ZR18 fronts and BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S 315/30ZR18 rears on my Roadster #8674. They look good, fit well, and I'm very happy with them. About 2000 miles so far with no visible wear. Others have run the same sizes with the Rival S. It's the only combination available. Even though "only" a 245 in the front, it's a meaty tire. They do have a 275 in the 18's, but I haven't seen anyone use those on a Roadster.

I find that googling for the 315s is the best step since there are so few of them. If a tire is available in a 315 it is most likely also available in a front size but the reverse isn't often the case.

I have some notes from when I was looking at tire options a couple months ago and I think a Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 is also available. There aren't a lot of options for a matching set of tires with these wheels. I was going to go with the Rival S myself.

For the fronts you can use 255/35/R18 or 245/40/R18. Check out a tire calculator to see the different dimensions of the tires to check compatibility: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Has anyone use a wider front tire that 255 on the 18" wheels? I will be using the FFR Halibrand wheels.

    Thanks
