    Paint and reducer

I am spraying a shopline paint. They guys at the store said to mix it 1to1. Is that a good ratio or should I go 1to.75??

Read the instructions on the paint container or go to the manufacturer's website. I'm sure that they will not recommend anything close to that much thinner. That was common back in the days of acrylic lacquer. Today, 25% thinner may be a lot.

PPG Shopline acrylic base mixes 1:1. The Technical Data Sheets are available thru your jobber or online. Why would you question it?

I found the tech sheet last night Jeff... Thanks... I was questioning the guy really. And a bad assumption on my part, I was doing it cause he look like he was 18.

I never put in less reducer then recommended,. I will, however use more to suit my needs. There is also "cocktailing" to get an exact temp range but I would leave that to the pros....da Bat
