Manual shows filter running backwards?
The fuel filter appears twice in the manual, both times plumbed in different routes, but both times the filter appears backwards, i.e. fuel is running in the wrong direction.
Can someone check me on this please?

and a neat "how to replace mustang fuel filter", showing this gif:

As you can see, in both manual pics the fuel is coming out of the rounded end of the filter, not the square end with the lip that it should. My filter has an arrow showing fuel should run out of the square end, and that's what every website I can find says too. See the image from Ford's website too, and the text there also says "fuel should flow in direction of arrow".
It's hard to believe that the manual is wrong twice on this, but I can't see any way it can be correct..

I would imply install it the way the arrow shows on the filter, regardless of the orientation in the manual. I am sure the arrow on the filter is correct.

In that first FFR picture, it looks like the hose is coming out of the tank to the fuel filter, so it looks correct to me (i.e. in my brain it matches the arrow and the information from Ford).
I can't tell which way things are going or supposed to be going in the second FFR pic. Regardless I agree with FFinisher.
