Beautiful Job!! At least you don't have to worry about messing up the new paint putting the body back on!

Nice color combo. The red is very rich looking, which add's some classiness.

Hopefully you mixed enough paint at one time, to do the doors, trunk, etc., so they will match the body..

Very nice combo. Honestly not a fan of red but yours looks really nice. Similar to one other red roadster that I was considering emulating but went blue instead.

Nice color. Hope the doors hood and trunk come out good, shouldn't they have been shot at the same time with the same mix?

Damn, thought I had my colors picked. Didn't think about the F5 colors, found the local SW store has no color chips. Pictures are deceptive, so will need to find a sample.

Ideally they probably should have been, but at minimum shot with the same mix. A pro painter could probably pull it off, but I have seen where even a temperature change can alter the results.

I've always painted cars in pieces and garage is not big enough to hold all the parts. been lucky so far always keep the pressure the same and the weather was the same so hopefully will look the same. I just went from the color on the computer from Sherwin williams

Beautiful color combo! Hang in there with the sanding...your arms will recover quickly, especially after the polishing starts (when you see what the results will be)!

Looks Great, I just finished my paint as well, I am gonna use flat black vinyl stripes, and a very similar color, Ruby Red.

Please tell me about the seat covers? I have the leather seats and want to have something to protect from the rain.

finished up the swirl remover and put on the glaze, used all mequire products this time around. worked ok but I still prefer 3m as they seemed to work faster. glad to be done as my arms are worn out, now time to put back together but will have to wait a couple of months as I am going away in the motorhome for awhile to Talladega then Martinsville then to texas for a month or so visiting friends and sightseeing. dun.JPGdun1.JPGdone4.JPGdun3.JPGdone1.JPG

    Nice nice nice!

I like the 3m products myself. I tend to do 1500, 3000Trizact, 5000 Trizact then the three stages of polish. Good result every time.

Waiting a couple of months is good, btw. It allows the paint and clear to "knit", and also allows for all the shrinkage to happen. I can't count how many times I've had buddies do a glassy smooth finish only to have the paint finish curing and have to re-sand because some orange peel rose out as the paint shrunk back.
