HEADERS: stock manifolds? Shorties? or full length 4 into 4?

So factory five wants $599 for shorties + 200 for the straight pipes and I find this to be ridiculous as considering shorties aren't going to be much better than the stock coyote manifolds. Can the stock 11-14 manifolds that came withe donor engine be used with the ffr supplied straight pipes? If not I think I'm going to splurge for the 4 into 4's. Thoughts?

Go with the 4 into 4s. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, the first builder with a Coyote and needed another option beside shorties and J pipes. He used the flexible building tool for custom headers and had the 4:1:4s made. They turned out so good they became the standard we all use now. Back then the company that built the first set was called Stainless Headers.

That would be ClemsonS197. We all need to thank him for the outstanding innovative work he did on those headers
