Searching the site and latest posts

    1. When going to latest posts, is it possible to have the list go further back? It seems if you do it at 11 pm you get the days posts (usually 40 to 50). If you go past 12 (not nesseseraly accurate, im estimating) you get 1 or 2 posts, so i assume it resets at 12. It would be cool to also see yesterdays posts or have the list go back 24 hours or even more!

2 how can you search for specific items - at a loss on wording my question! - like a keyword when a post is very detailed on a specific item?

Example: i want to read up on programing efi systems - but every build thread has " Im running efi or Im running a carb and not efi" so the search list gets long.

I have tried the advanced search but have not had much luck.

I may have missed the obvious but being able to find these posts would be sweet.

I can't help with your first question, but for the second regarding searching I'd recommend using Google vs. the site's advanced search function. It's easy, fast, and IMO gives better results. Go to google.com and type in "site:http://thefactoryfiveforum.com /search term" without the quotes and replacing search term with whatever you're searching for. You'll get a list of links to posts containing the search term. Works really well. Note this works on the other forum as well, just using that site name vs. this one.

One way around your question 1. If you are interested in say posts for roadsters only - go to forums on the top tool bar. Then scroll down to roadsters. All past posts will be arranged chronologically and you'll see then all regardless of how late in the night it is.
