I feel bad that no one has responded to your question, however simple it is. I don't normally answer questions of this nature because I haven't built one of these cars YET... but I will say you have some conflicts in your question.

The car was designed around the small block Ford Windsor engines (260/289/302W/5.0/5.0HO/351W/5.8). The only difference between the 302 and 351 is deck height, so depending on what intake/induction system you choose the only issue you may have is hood clearance. Now you mention the 5.8L ... Typically in carburated form the engine is referred to as a 351 and in EFI form is referred to as a 5.8L. The differences will be front cover, water pump rotation, water pump length, and accessory drive (internally the main differences will be roller cam and maybe lifter bosses). Internals and front dress will be similar for 5.0HO, and 5.8L. As for damper/flexplate/flywheel, the 5.0HO, 351W, and 5.8L are 50oz balance with the rest of the Windsors being 28oz. These engines are different than both the Cleveland engines (Boss 302 / 302C / Boss 351 / 351C) and the Modified motors (351M/400M).

All of those engines will probably go into the car, but the provided motor mounts are for the Windsor (and OHC Windsor and Romeo Modular engines, but that's another discussion).

I have a 408W which is a 351W block in mine - no issues at all.

No issues, as a matter of fact I have a new set of custom headers for a 351 based engine in a 33.

Yes. I have one from Mike Forte and it runs excellent. Plenty of power and just over 400hp.

Thank you all for responding to my post. The motor is a 5.8L at the moment but when I pull it out and put it in the 33 it will be a 351. I plan on using carb for old school look and just wanted to know if there major things I had to look foward to. I hope to have mine in Jun. Again thank you all for your feed back.
