    E-brake issues

Ok guys what am I missing?

Set-up: Donor E-brake assembly out of a 92 Convertable with cable (not sure if it was a V8 Car)

Rear end was out of a 93 GT Fox hard top. I installed a the 5 lug conversion, drum brakes with stock E-brake cables

Issue: After E-brake Handel install in Roadster, handel is almost vertical before IT STARTES TO ENGAUGE!

Ive installed the E-brakes before and never had an issue in older MK2's and MK3's. This is my first MK4, what is the difference?

    Thanks Guys

Hey Lowrod. I have read that the Ford ratchet e brake handles have a self adjusting ratchet inside. I have not had any experience with it, but you might find something on google or you tube. I am just up the road from you, near Warrior. We need to compare notes sometime.
