    Sealing parking brake hole

What, if anything, have you done to seal or reduce the size of the parking brake hole in the transmission tunnel? Did you do anything to the floor pan?

Seems like an awfully tall ask for the parking brake boot to keep out the dust, water, and whatnot by itself.

EDIT: I should have mentioned that I'm using the F5 handle & mechanism provided in the complete kit, mounted as described in their instructions.

I agree it looks a little bad from underneath to have that big opening by the e-brake. I've messed around with trying to seal it up better. Especially if you have a TKO, the space is really tight. But after driving a number of seasons with it, there's nothing negative happening that I can see. No water when in the rain (yes, it happens), no dust, no dirt, etc. Apparently there is enough air pressure in the transmission tunnel that it's really not a problem. Also posted on the other forum.

Foil backed felt insulation cut somewhat close to the mechanism, covered by carpet - also cut close, and further covered with the FFR supplied vinyl boot. No issues with heat, dust, or road grime.

I live in Florida and have been caught in a couple very heavy downpours. I even drove my car 45 minutes to get it out of the hurricane Matthew flood zone. It was raining so hard that 40 mph was terrifying. No issues with leakage around the boot.

Considering the weather most of us drive in sealing the boot is a non-issue. However, when it gets nasty out there you're probably wishing you put drain holes in the foot boxes!
