    Line End Connectors

    Line End.jpg

I want to ensure I will be able to flash my ECU. However I have been a little over zealous in my wire diet!

The test mode connectors B76 and B75 are the green connectors that are plugged together to complete a circuit to allow test mode. From there B126 and B125 make up the "Line End Connector" (Located on WI-71) E/G (TB)-05

Does the BW (Black White) and Or (Orange) wire remain connected together at that junction during normal driving operation?

    or

Is that connection only made for tuning or other diagnostics?

    Thanks in advance!!

If you are talking about the single wire junction above B125, yes that stays together but won't matter. I believe it's just there to extend the wire. Not even really needed IMHO. I think I cut mine out.

Correct, the connection at B126/B126 is used to reflash only - you can put a switch at those two wires or just leave the connectors unplugged for normal driving. But they have to be connected to reflash the ECU. You can permanently connect/solder together the wires at B75/B76 and at connector B250.
