    Attaching Aluminum Panels Permanently

Again a question I am sure has been asked thousands of times, but here goes anyway.

At what point is it best to do the final attachment of the aluminum panels? So far, I only have the F Panels and Firewall in permanently. I have brake lines, fuel lines and electrical harness run. I'm currently working on the E-brake. Any thoughts or suggestions regarding the best sequence. I keep thinking that once they are in I will find myself needing access for this or that.

    Thanks

I attached all of my panels except for the top and outer driver's foot box and the rear cockpit and back (all of the trunk panels). Also the trans tunnel cover isn't attached yet. I would recommend installing the passenger tunnel wall before doing the e-brake based on my experience.

I think it all depends on what you plan is to finish the aluminum panels. I know I permanently installed all the trunk panels and like Papa said doing the passenger tunnel before permanently putting in the park brake lever. I prepped the bottom side of all those panels with bed liner first then installed. I am mocking all the panels in the engine bay with engine in and all accessories mounted like heater, wipers power steering reservoir or anything that will be mounted to aluminum or put holes in them. Then blow it all apart and have all the parts powder coated that is needed finishing. And finish the cockpit panels with Lizard Skin.

I think those guys covered it. But, i have all my panels permanently installed except driver's side foot box top, DS foot box outside wall and trans tunnel. I finished suspension, brakes and fuel lines before they were permanent. Could have had them all in permanently before that really, except for trunk panels.
