    2017 SEMA Show Preview

I like to say that, “If you’re in the car business, you’re at SEMA. If you’re not at SEMA, you’re not in the car business.” Well, it’s that time of year again, and we’re loaded up and heading out to Las Vegas for SEMA 2017. This year, like most, we are bringing a few surprises, some customer cars, and excited to see the latest and greatest hardware in the automotive aftermarket!

Here’s a preview of some of the cars we are bringing this year. We will bring you daily updates on our website and social media pages from the show starting Tuesday, October 31st.

One of the biggest surprises this year is out all-new ’35 Hot Rod Pick-Up Truck that will debut at the show and on our website next Tuesday.

Above: Tony Zullo drives the Hot Rod Pick-up onto the Factory Five big rig.

It has been a big year for the Type 65 Coupe, and we are bringing four (4) of them to the show including our street car #1 and our race car #22.

The new Factory Five car hauler is ready to go with all-new graphics applied to it last spring.

The famous Factory Five Mk4 “half mobile” Roadster will be featured in our display at this year’s SEMA Show.

Over 2,700 HP is heading to SEMA from Factory Five!

Fred Simmons at SMG Motoring is showing off his steel body ’33 Hot Rod build at the SEMA Show. Last year, we introduced the all-steel body option for our ’33 Hot Rod, and we have had numerous production delays. It looks like we are finally heading towards production on these quality steel bodies.

It’s been a big year for the 818. The Factory Five 818R finished in the Top 10 this year at the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge! Customer Ron Ewerth has been racing his 818R all summer, and recently finished some upgrades to the car in time for the Factory Five booth at SEMA.

Customer Ron Mills’ GTM Supercar won awards at this year’s Huntington Beach Cruise-In and will also be featured in our SEMA booth.

Karen Salvaggio built one of the first Gen 3 Coupes, and has been racing all year out west. Her car was also at the London Cobra Show. Her car will be headlining the Snap-On Tools display at this year’s SEMA Show.

This beautiful SKJ Customs-built twin-turbo black GTM has been at SEMA before, and will be featured in Aero Detail Products booth.

Cover King makes beautiful car covers for Factory Fives, and our ’33 flame Hot Rod will be wearing one of their covers at the Cover King display in the main building.

Above: Our production Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe #001 will be in our booth at SEMA along with customer Erik Treves twin-turbo military-grade Coupe (below) that will be unveiled at the show. Erik has been building his car online this year, and you can view his build on The Factory Five Forum.

NASCAR driver Joey Logano drove this after our Snap-On shop build. The car will be featured in KONI Shocks’ booth right next to our booth. The car featured Ford’s brand-new 560 HP 5.2L Aluminator 52XS engine. The car will also be featured on an upcoming episode of a popular Velocity channel car show.

Make sure to come back next week for more photos and videos from the 2017 SEMA Show!

There is a SEMA set up video on Factory five’s facebook page that has a glimpse at the truck as well.
