    Fuel gauge calibration?

I have the vintage gauges from speedhut and the standard issue fuel sending unit from FFR. I don't know the mOhm range of the fuel sending unit. Speedhut mentions that their default needs not calibration. ? Will I need to calibrate the fuel gauge? Added about 4 gals of gas and it registers 1/4 tank so may not need cal?

I checked my sender before installing it and it is 16-158 Ohms.

The sender provided in my complete kit registered 16 – 160 ohms; no calibration needed.

Per the instructions that came with the gauges, 16-158 Ohms is the default setting, so no calibration needed. If you want to verify it, put the gauge into program mode and it should jump up to the 7/8 mark.
