Front turn signals way too big!!!

I started to mount the front lights. The headlight holes were slightly small but a few minutes with a drum sander fixed that. The turn signals are another deal. The hole is 2.1/8" or 2.125" as per the manual. The actual turn signal housing is 2.6". Did I get 818 rear lights by accident or is this the new part I have to make fit?? I laugh at guys moaning about the MK4 kits. They are a dream compared to the GTM. LOL.

After talking to Dan at FFR it seems the turn signals you now get are 2.6" and you must enlarge the holes. Too bad For does nor do it while they do the headlight holes. Oh well just part of the fun, wink, wink!

They were too large for the FFR cut hole on mine as well, but not sure if they have changed type since then.
    Cheers,

having read a lot of your posts sounds like experience talking now. I also enjoy the dream of my GTM as well several nights of the week as I get the opportunity to work on it. Just happened to look at those just the other night.

Cut the holes out with a 2.5" hole saw. Fit fine now.
