Anyone Have Any Opinions on Grote 7" LED Sealed Beam Headlights?
I saw these on a TV show this morning and thought I'd look into them. The are a bit on the pricey side, but a lot cheaper than a deer collision.

They are also marketed under a couple of different names at a slightly better price; Maxxima, Anzo, and Quadratech. The primary manufacturer is United Pacific.
Anyone using them in their cars under any of the marketed names?
Thanks,
Dave

I am interested in opinions here as well. I looked at what I could find as the top in LED headlights. The performance looked very good but the price. My struggle was/is the look. Hoping I dont get buyers remorse as my LHD P700's US version are on their way from the UK. I can always put an H4 LED bulb in them.

I installed the Lucas P700s (about $80 a pair for the Chinese copy) and changed the H4 bulbs to a LED ones which are brighter than the original H4 halogen bulb. The LED bulbs are getting cheap and there are many to pick from at a price less than $50 for the pair. The P700s direct most of the light down on the road and have a horizontal light cutoff for the upper hemisphere similar to the modern headlight patterns abet not quite as good. The bulbs I have fit inside the bucket and don't require an external power supply.

I looked through several reviews as well as some forums which discussed the 7" round headlight replacements. The Grote ones didn't seem to get very high praise compared to the other high end lights. Check out this YouTube for a discussion of many 7" lights. If you want to spend the serious money for a pair of headlights, it seems the JW Speaker 8700 EVO 2 is the best.
