    vintage gauge power

    hello all- just looking for any advice/recommendations to power the voltage gauge. mk iv complete kit with ff vintage gauges the sheet from the manufacturer just says attach yellow line to "12 volt power source". not sure where to hook up to.

    It draws very little current. You could pretty much pick any ignition switched circuit. Personally, I use the Brn Gauge Feed wire, same as powers all gauges, since that wire is already in the dash harness. Or you could pull from another source like radio, choke, wiper, heater.

    My Ron Francis harness had a plug and play voltage connector for the voltage gauge sensor line.

    You're right. Need to remember to check the newest version schematic since it looks like everyone is receiving that one now. The connector is on the Brn Gauge Feed wire I recommended in the previous post.
