    Tire Question

Could someone please state the actual size difference between P275/50R15 and P275/60R15 tires. Are they taller, wider or both and by how much in inches? I am working to replace old BFG TA's on 15" 4 lug wheels. I don't want to change to 5 lug 17" if I can avoid it due to the expense. I have a 12 year old MKII with 1990 Mustang 4 link. The closest replacement tires I can find are 60R and I am trying to determine if they will fit without Mods. I have been a member here form the start and check and read this site everyday but don't and haven't posted often. Thanks for your consideration.

Good info NAZ! Thanks for the link. Now I need to do some investigation to see if 60's will fit.
    Thanks!

    Try 295/50-15.

The 275/60s are 28.1 OD vs 26.8 for the 295s. I think those 60s will be way to large and hit the 3/4x3/4 tube that runs out to the door latch

Yes Craig, the 295/50-15s look like they may be the best route to go. Thanks for your input.
