    New member first question

New member here with a Type 65 build.
Picked up my kit in October and making progress....until now.
My wheels will not bolt up as the upper ball joint hits the inside of the wheel. I'm using SN95 spindles from my '95 Mustang with the FFR adapters. The adapters appear to be too short (measured horizontal) and bring the ball joint too close to the wheel. I happen to have a pic from the FFR showroom display setup and the adapter appears wider than mine.
My wheels are 17X9 with 6" backspace. I measured the backspace of the car and it looks like a max of 4.5" before ball joint interference.
Am I doing something wrong here or just a combo of non matching parts?? (The 94-95 spindles are different than 96-04)
Any pics for me to compare a correct setup? Should be the same as a Roadster.
Thanks and looking forward to having the first completed Gen 3 T65 in Canada.

    Thanks,
    Lou

    (Can't get the pics rotated.)

Yes, I believe you have the wrong spindle adapters.

I am using 1995 spindles, and my spindle adapters look like the ones in the first pic (FFR showroom display).

Looks like you have pin drive width spindle adapters (maybe)???

That's what I'm thinking but pin drive adapters pics show that they only have 2 bolt holes not 4 unless these were made wrong?

That is a pin drive spindle adapter and is causing your issue. Call FFR on Monday and they should send the correct set out to you.
