seat sliders without welding?

Has anyone had luck with seat sliders that you can bolt in as opposed to having them welded in?

I've had both the Sparco sliders and the eBay knockoffs on a few of my racecars and they seem to all fail in similar fashion. If it's a street vehicle simply make a base adapter to bolt the slider to then bolt the seat to the slider.
