Has anybody built, or is planning to build, a Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe with undercar exhaust terminating at the rear? Conversely has anyone looked into it and decided not to do this?
Would appreciate any and all insights - thanks!

FFR Mk3.1 #6720. Carb'd 302. Fun.
I don't see how it would be possible without most everything hanging below the frame. The new space frame is flat from front to back and by definition the lowest part of the frame. I'm assuming the ride height is going to be in the 4 to 4-1/2 inch range. So you would end up with exhaust components just a couple inches from the ground. Don't know how practical that would be. This picture of the bottom of my Gen 3 build gives an idea of what it's like under there. Also, keep in mind with the Coupe the body is designed for side pipes and they're set in to some extent. The side pipes aren't exposed nearly as much as with a Roadster. Basically just the outside. I'm expecting (hoping...) that running into the hot side pipes will be less of an issue. Plus I think you would need to do some body work to fill those areas or it would look a little strange.
