    LOL.

Just wish I had the same patience and skill for this body work stuff. I'm also tired of leaving the garage with itchy forearms....and I've been wearing old flight suits with the sleeve taped........

Props for doing it on your own; I knew I wouldn't have the patience (or skill) for it, and I wanted it to look good, lol. Off to Ken's it went. Also helped me avoid builder'sburn-out

I was just brain storming and had some thoughts. The engine's throttle control is fly-by-wire. I'm curious if a simple circuit could be placed in line and activated by a swt that would limit the throttle by scaling down the input?

Cruise control can be wired with a stock PCM, Outside of stock I'm not sure.
Wow! Good stuff. Does active handling use the ABS and cut power? Have you been able to test?

Yes. When I got to Kart stage I put about 25 miles on the GTM doing what I like to call "testing the systems". I could only get the wheels to spin with the system off or in comp mode. So far all of the systems work as described in the corvette manual. I also added a timed circuit that switches the system to comp mode when I start the GTM.

Please, DO NOT try and alter the drive-by-wire system in any way. It can have DEADLY effects.

    V,

Try some baby powder on your arms before working on the car. I doesn't solve the itching a 100% but helps a lot.

Yep. That's what I do, (blow and cold water wash) and unless I have been working all day, it works great. I've found for my longer days of body work that a barrier cream, or even just a lotion or sun screen tends to fill the pores and not let as much of the fibers in.
