    Cobras in the Northwest ?

I would like to know if there are gatherings of Cobras anywhere in the western part of Washington state ? I have been driving my FFR roadster for 9 years and would like to
    attend more events.

I'm not sure about Western, WA. If your anywhere near Portland there is a meeting once a month at Landmark Ford. You can also check out http://www.cascadecobras.com

There are plenty of gatherings in Western WA. Carman keeps a list of all Western WA and other WA owners and we go on cruises in the summer, meet at some car spots etc... There is a decent amount of owner/builders on this side of the mountains.

Oregon (Cascade Cobra) seems better organized than Washington/Seattle area. I suspect that will change when Darren opens up the 7x24 den with 6 on tap local beers and a new 83" LED tv with the stadium seating in the loft area.

    I'll brew to that.

We have never been to keen on organization here. Just laid back and casual. Just be sure to watch the NW forum on both...oops, all 3 forums for info on gatherings or cruises.

I've got a roadster and 4 beers on tap in the garage. Stop by sometime.

See, I brewed for that. One of those is mine. I haven't ever tasted it yet.

Mental note: Must get to Nate's house. Must get to Nate's house. Must get to Nate's house.

IF I were to move to Washington State from my reading of the new motor vehicle registration laws it looks like I will be OK transferring in a FFR Mark I as it's currently titled in Maine originally, NC next, and now Arkansas as a 1998... oh and it has has slightly more than 7500 miles on it!
    Sound right?
My other vehicles as they do not have Calif smog equipment on them but do have also more than 7500 miles on them should also be OK transferring them in too?

    Hey Snake,

Check out the NW forums at FFCars.com and ClubCobra.com. A trip is being planned on Aug 17-19 heading from the Seattle/Tacoma area to Seaside OR, on to Florence OR and return. We did this last year. We all had a great time. I believe there were 16 Cobras and 1 Daytona on the trip. It turned alot of heads. Especially when we pulled into Seaside.

There is also an event in Vacouver WA the following Sunday, Aug 26, several of us will be cruising to. Again, a great cruise-in and alot of fun. Allen Grant will also be there to tell his stories about racing for Carroll Shelby.
