Post Quicktime RM-6065 Bell Housing info

I recently purchased a Quicktime RM 6065 bell housing from Forte's and I am extremely happy with Forte's and the Quicktime bell housing.

Like many of the custom parts on the FFR, the block plates I received were off a little and I had to modify it. It seems that is common knowledge that starter register hole requires slight amount of grinding - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJJGaEnkQ1g

(Thanks hjohan37 on FFCars.com forum for that video info)

    List of Events:
After noticing the problem, Forte's sent me a block plate marked 6065, but it had the same problem. So then I started working with Quicktime and I received another block plate marked, RM-6065-C. It had the same problem, so I went to a Mustang vendor and placed a 1990 T-5 OEM Ford Blockplate over the Quicktime Rm-6065-C block plate and it still had extra material in the starter hole. Quicktime has been great to work with, I primarily contacted Mr. Jim Puskas and the Quicktime founder, Mr. Ross McCombs. Actually, they were about to send a another plate, but to save me time to get the FFR back together I asked if I could clearance the material myself. Basically, my recommendation is to place an OEM Ford block plate over the Quicktime block plate like in the video above and check to see if it needs to be clearanced. The starter flywheel engagement was/is my biggest concern. If you notice a problem, contact Quicktime 216-688-8300.

Here are some the pictures I have already passed on to Quicktime.

I have not used the RM-6060, but I would check it as well because the block plates could be made from the same CNC. If you notice a problem contact Quicktime, so it can get fixed for everybody.

Last thing I wanted to add is that I really like the design/looks of the Quicktime RM-6065 product and I plan to use it for a long time.
