Type 65 in Pakistan

Hi,

I'm planning on building a Type 65 coupe in Pakistan which is where i live.

I would imagine it to be the first FFR car in the region.

Wanted to know if the factory can make a right hand drive kit instead of the standard left hand.

Also, how difficult would it be to fit in a power steering? I read somewhere on the website that power steering makes the car too 'twitchy'. Would it be safe to assume that leaving the power steering out is the better option?

We have ridiculous import duties in Pakistam, around 125-200% on cars and at least 55% on car parts. Also, nothing is available locally, EVERYTHING has to be imported.

Looking for an engine thats high powered, low priced and reliable in the sense that i dont want to be importing spares all the time. Any suggestions?

Ffr don't do rhd versions of any of their cars. The 818 will be the first but that is still a few years away from being produced.

You can do the rhd conversion but you need to do it yourself or find someone that will do it for you in Pakistan. I know there is a ffr in Dubai, but that is as close as I know of in the region.

As far as engines are concerned, you would be better off going for a ford crate engine. With any luck you won't need spares, but you if you do it will be easier to get hold of them.

It would be much simpler and cheaper to buy a completed kit from someone and import it.

Some of the Australian guys have done their own RHD conversions, so you might do some searching and I'm sure you can either find some info or contacts to someone that has done it.
