    Roxanne is almost done!

Roxanne is Carl Critz's stretched Coupe. For those who have not been following Carls build, the chassis had a 5" plug inserted into the 4" tubes,
to change the wheelbase to 100". Carl also designed and fabricated a custom Torque Arm rear suspension. The engine is a 550 HP 363 Racing motor,
backed up by a TKO 550.

Carl sent these last night, the glass is in, exhaust is installed, just finishing up some wiring, and other details.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

From the first shot you can hardly even tell it's stretched at a glance. Car looks great though. Like to see how the head lights look when finished. Is he putting the covers on them?

This car desreves some serious FFR attention. I am fascinated to see the extent to which these changes were integrated into the chassis, aluminum and body... WOW, alot of impressive work!

    Ask and ye shall receive....

Close up of where the 5" plug was inserted.

Some floor panels, to help with making the underside aerodynamically cleaner, rear diffuser.

Two sets of doors were used, to make one each 5" longer, easier than cutting and then making a patch for the doors.
A copy was made of the roof, and when the roof was cut, a strip of the molded roof was patched into place.

Carl's Coupe definitely has a very nice flow to it, we had photoshopped it, and the car looked more balanced with 5 inches more in the cockpit added.

It's also very nice to sit in. With the longer doors it is very easy to get into. Dave, Carl did an incredidable job and it does work well. The added length works and still keeps very nice lines
