CA FOR SALE: Non-Started MKIV Kit 3 Link with a Bunch of Parts - $18,500
I hate to do this but I am selling my MKIV kit. I bought it new from Factory Five (delivered in early 2019), but have not started it yet, so it can still be 100% built by you and no factory wait time! I have been collecting some parts that are included in the sale as well.
What I've bought/spent to date:
- MKIV Base kit #133999, Options: Powder Coated Chassis, 3 Link, Power Steering, FF Front Spindles - $15,648
- Shipping - $1,700
- New Ford Front and Rear Brakes from Rock Auto - $618
- Used 8.8 rear end with all new components, Ford Racing 3.27 Gears, Ford Trac-Lok, 31 Spline Moser Axels, all bearings, seals and hardware $1,883
- New MOOG tie rods, ball joints, and ball joint dust boots - $90
- All black rivets from McMasterCarr for aluminum - $80
- Parts from Breeze: Offset Rack Mounting Kit, Braided Line and Fittings for Rack, Bostik Panel Bond - $210
- Mustang Wheels with bald Tires to Use for Roller - Free
Grand Total Spent $20,229
The car is located in Northern California, West of Sacramento, and would hope to sell it locally, but if the buyer wants to ship, thats ok too. I have all the receipts.
$18,500 - Take advantage of a Big discount from the factory, and no wait time!
Any chance you still a have the original crates for transport? I am down in San Diego and trying to get a project moved like this is a unique challenge.

If he had it delivered by Stewart Transport the car would not have been crated. I’m sure that a full size pickup (or a U-haul box truck) along with a flatbed trailer would haul everything in one trip.

I'm not getting gray, I'm adding chrome....

If the FFR boxes are intact that helps on size. I rented a u-haul and brought a full 818 kit & acc. plus engine, transmission, and bunch of other junk I didn't need from so-Cal to San Jose.Unload_11162015.jpg
I have been in contact with PrestonT23 and while the kit is still available, I decided not to purchase it as it's not exactly what I would want to build. Just in case anyone else is interested.
Hi PrestonT23,
Ssomeone will get a good .project. What motor/trans is the frame set up for? GLWtS.

Not interested in the kit. But FWIW, nothing about the frame or motor mounts are specific to this combination. Could also take a mod motor, any SBF, Coyote, etc. Frame mounts will work for all and there's no difference in the location. Only thing that's variable is the driveshaft including length and spline counts for the ordered setup.
