    front wheels with full fenders

looks like a couple questions already but looking for a definitive answer.
Running the full fenders will be running a 305/35/20 in the rear
the front I want to run a 255/35/19 which has a section width of 10.2" and an OD of 26"
I have asked FF for the wheel mount to wheel mount measurement and the outside fender measurement, still waiting on a reply figured I would see if anyone has gone down this road
the 19 will be x 9" wide and i am expecting the Back space to be about 5" but we all know how an inch can really mess things up and I only want to buy one set of Forgeline wheels

if anyone has done a 245 to 265 front tire with about a 26" od can you tell me your back space and rime width please

Do you have the manual? it is quite accurate. For full fenders, these are the max....
Front maximum wheel width and Backspacing: 9.00” with 5.50” Backspace
    Front maximum tire width: 255mm
Rear maximum wheel width and Backspacing: 11.00” with 6.00” Backspace
    Rear maximum tire width: 315mm
Front / Rear maximum tire diameter: 25.7”

Your fronts will be fine with a 5.5" backspace.
Your rears are going to be a problem, your diameter of 28.4" is going to be problematic. 305/30R19 works.
I have 315/30R18 on 11" with 6" backspace, works fine. With 305, you might be able to go with less backspace 5.5 or go with 6 and if you don't like it put a small spacer in.

PM PeterH, good guy and he's running full fenders if you want a measurement.

Hey Steve Thanks i see your in North Vancouver. i am originally from Maple Ridge. now living in St George Ut.
you think it is just the added 2" in dia that will be an issue just fitting it in the opening? i want the car to have a rake with a taller rear tire for that look. or what is the issue you see?
i am ordering a custom length 9" and want the fat lip in the rear so that is how i arrived at the 4" bs

I'm running BFG G-Force Comp 2 A/S tires: 245/45-18 front, 305/35-20 rear. The wheels are 18-8 front, 20-10 rear, with 4" backspace on all 4 corners. Dan Ruth front fenders and running boards, and FFR rear fenders. Keith HR #894

    Here’s what I’m running
    YOKOHAMA ADVAN NEOVA AD08 R | Fr 245/45 R17 | Rr 295/30 R18
    AR605 Torq-Thrust M Chrome | Fr 17x8 | Rr 18x10

I added 1/2 spacer to my rears to get more clearance from the body. So far it all seems to fit. Check out my build for pictures and more details.

peterh, was that the 24mm offset Torq Thrust on the rear? Shows 6.44 backspace. 1/2 spacer sounds right then, but PA says I can't have more than 1/4 spacer. Do you think that would fit without hitting the body? I could always replace with a 1/2 spacer after inspection for better looks, but it has to fit for the inspection. I'm having trouble finding wheels I like that come in exactly the right size needed per FFR's specs. I'm going with bike fenders.

My concern was that it's difficult to predict what works and what doesn't once you start going outside the recommended max since there are a lot of variables. It looks like Keith is running the exact tire size you're contemplating on the rear so you can't argue with that You can always make something fit with some work - spacers, fiberglass changes,....

Remember you can alter the ride height front and rear to a bit of rake too.

lastly, a word of warning on the FFR front (bike) fenders. They are tight!!! Their max diameter on the inside is about 26". My 245/40R18 (25.7 dia) barely fits with an equal space all around. Of course you can cut it down significantly and/or put it off center if you want...

Maple Ridge, Langley and other areas in the "valley" are great for rodding!

I added longer studs to go with the 1/2 spacer. 1/4 will give you enough to clear the body ok.
