    Gen 2 nose cone

    Guys,
On my Gen 2 33 I’m trying to fit up my fiberglass lower side panels/nose cone. There is a 1-1/2” (+/-) gap be tween the two halves, under the grille/radiator. I was wondering how others have handled this. Assuming this gap is normal for everyone...The gap looks weird but it is kind of hidden. Fastening the fiberglass pieces are a challenge at the pointed bottom of the grille because the grille’s flange gets really narrow there. Any thoughts on remedies and photos would be appreciated.

I ended up glassing them together into one piece. Added fiberglass as needed and lot of time on and off. Also sectioned them a bit so the hood sides fit ok. Lots of work. Should be pictures in my build log.

Thanks Peter. I saw your work on this. It was impressive.
