    Marin - alignment specialist

About to turn my roadsters engine on for the first time. Next up will be alignment! Anyone recommend a place in Marin county to get your roadster aligned?

If you have done your rough alignment, I wouldn't rush to getting the alignment done. The suspension settled quiet a bit between my first run around the block to the time I finished. I adjusted ride height couple of times. I put about 300 miles on her with my very rough alignment and it was totally fine.

A bit far for you but I got mine done a couple of months ago at Roger Kraus Racing https://rogerkrausracing.com

If you want to do a good self alignment I can loan you my toe plates and camber gauge, in San Rafael or Petaluma. Alternatively, there is a Porsche garage in San Rafael, S-Car-Go racing that is good. I am sure they can handle it even though they arent used to cars with the engine in the right place.

Have you done or do you want to corner weight the car and adjust before alignment? I did a preliminary corner weight adjustment (i have scales) and moved it quite a bit to get the weight right which would change the alignment if done after.

Would be great if I could borrow your toe plates and camber gauge. I plan to get the roadster cornered at Sonoma raceway but their earliest appointment is mid-July. So using your tool would be great to get a rough setup and sometime to break in the suspension.

I’ll PM you to set up a pick up. Many thanks!

Any decent tire shop should be able to do an alignment. Big-O did mine in El Dorado Hills.
