Are these the correct Door Latch Assemblies?

I got a pallet donor 03 wagon, poorly done, so I’ve been chasing the small stuff the whole build.

These don’t seem to look anything like the depictions in the build manual and haven’t gotten any clear pictures here on the forum or the Subie parts manual. FFR is so busy, haven’t gotten a response, so here we go.

Any pictures of them installed with door locks would be hugely appreciated!

    Thanks in Advance

C, My 2002 sedan parts are different and have plastic covers and remote solenoids. The plastic is marked R & L as are the cover plates on the latch.

I have fore/aft latch and lock rods and the blue plastic insert does nothing.

This is what mine look like from a 2005 WRX wagon donor. Very similar to the photos in the manual.

I'm using Rev 1F. Here are some pics installed and of the manual.

    Thanks, guys

So, while these look like what I have, carnutdave’s from the 2005 seem to be the ones in the manual. I think what I’m seeing is all will work with the roadster, but only the later will work with the pull cable in the coupe, needed to clear the window. That from looking through revisions F (page 375), H, I, O, P and V.

AJz, have you been able to connect the door latch link (part 81059) to our style latch mechanism? With the units’ actuation tab on the top instead of the bottom, I show it several inches too long.

I may go hunt down some latches from the later cars, and hopefully get the cable and other parts from FFR

I'm using actuators, so I am making custom linkage.
