    Waterfall fitment (gen 1)

    The waterfall on the driver side isn’t resting against the door jamb. There is a .3 inch gap. The upper waterfall is pushing up against the body (where the restraints will go) so it can’t slide back anymore. I’m not sure the best way to proceed. Where do I make the modifications at the top since it will be hidden or do I cut and re-glass the section with the gap in front of the door jamb. The problem I have with option 2 is the waterfall inner contour extends past the jamb.

    Here's my take: the gap doesn't matter. Depending on the rest of your build (coupe, roadster, etc), it ends up being hidden (or at least not readily visible) in most cases. If you really want, just put some HSRF in there to build it up - once painted, etc no one is the wiser...
