Lake George summer run details July 9th

The Lake George Summer run is taking shape!
When: Saturday July 9th,2022 Depart at 10:00 am
Where: Gather at the Fort William Henry Hotel south parking lot, 48 Canada St, Lake George, NY
Who: Cobra replicas, their owners & co-pilots, as well as a few other car lovers with their rides.
    What to expect:
    • There will be a brief drivers meeting at 9:45. We’ll have water bottles for those wanting one.
    • Expect to pull out of the parking lot at 10:00 am sharp. So, arrive with an empty bladder and a full tank.
    • The first leg of the cruise is about 2 hours. We will stop for lunch at Neil B’s house.
    • Lunch will be “make your own” cold cut sandwiches, chips and water. Cost is $10 per head which we’ll collect at Neil’s.
    • After Lunch we’ll cruise on back to Lake George along the western shore of the lake.
    • Rain?? Not a lot of choices, so cross your fingers.
    • The total days drive is about 120 miles. The route we have planned is below.

Misc: Some of us are arriving Thursday so stop by the Quality Inn if you’d like. Any ideas for fun and mayhem on Friday are welcome. A few suggestions: tubing on the Hudson River (Bring a suite), Go carts, hiking, the rodeo, (yes there’s a rodeo) Fort Henry museum, 6 Flags, Outlet Shopping. Out of towners reach out to make dinner plans for Friday or Saturday.
On Sunday a group will be heading to the Car Museum in Saratoga. Details on Saturday. It’s a small and friendly place with some unique stuff. Here’s a link. https://www.saratogaautomuseum.org/

I'm arriving Thursday and am staying at Fort William Henry Hotel. Will probably go go-karting on Friday. My co-pilot is my 15 year old so that seems his most likely pick! Happy to meet up with others!

edit: scratch the go-karting.... he's fixed on 6 Flags.
