    gas caps

Last time I was on the track I noticed fuel was leaking out of the both gas caps and would have to clean off the rear fenders. I started out with both gas tanks full because usually by the end of the day they are pretty low. Even after my third 30 minute session I was still having to clean streaks from both gas caps on the top of the fender all the way to the back. It does not leak a lot just enough to streak.

As far as I can tell the fuel tank vents are working properly.

I am running the regular factory five gas caps.

Has anybody had problems like this?

Does anybody have any idea what I can do about this while keeping the factory gas caps?

Would a fuel rollover valve fix this? I know there's not a lot of room to plumb one in... Mike/Crash probably has a fix

This fuel check valve looks promising and would probably fit...I don't recall what diameter you'd need...

The seal preload is adjustable. IIRC you have to go in the inside of the cap and adjust the nut. I am not at the shop so cannot look at it right now, but that is what I recall. I have had to adjust them a couple times over the years. Also the screws can leak. You may need to put some sealer on the screws. I have never done this, but I did notice that someone in the past had put sealer on the filler screws around the outside ring.
