Power brake booster fitment w/4.6L 4v

Would anyone know if I can fit a power brake booster on the 33 firewall
    when running a 4.6L dohc?
    Thanks in advance

have you checked with Whitby Motorcars? I bought a setup from them. Pretty straight forward install.

    vacuum brake booster

I was not able to use the Whitby system in my '33 with Coyote power. The problem was that the vacuum reservoir was 10" dia. (IIRC) and it just wouldn't fit under the hood and inside the side covers. I'm not familiar with the 4.6L engine, but I suspect you may have the same issue. There is a lot more space under the hood on the roadsters and coupes where the Whitby kit is usually installed.

I found a power brake booster kit at Summit that has a 6" dia. reservoir (7" max at the flange) that fits with minimal clearance all around. I added some brackets to support the booster and had to build a custom linkage to tie everything together because my booster is mounted a lot higher on the firewall than usual. So, it can be done but requires extra work - not the bolt-in solution that Whitby offers. (BTW, the people at Whitby were great to work with. I wish I could have used their kit.)

A Ford OEM hydroboost fit fine on my MK4. Might the hydroboost be an option if you have PS?
MK4 base kit, 2004 Mach 1 donor, 4.6L DOHC, TR-3650 5-speed, narrowed stock axle with 3.55 gears and TruTrac, PS, PB, ABS, 17" Halibrand replica wheels, started 12/2011, registered 9/2014, sold 3/1/2018.
1970 Mustang Fastback Coyote powered Boss 302 tribute. Started 10/14/16.
Gen 3 Coupe Base Kit non-donor build. Ordered 4/5/2024 to be received August 2024.
