Brembo Brakes

Ok, I have too much time on my hands and, well, I just don’t like the looks of the stock brake setup.

I have always liked endurance racing, so I tend to think of changes as to how that would do for endurance racing.

This change is 60% visual, 40% track day focused.

I found that Cadillac ATS-V used Brembo Calipers that are, near enough, a direct bolt on for the C5/C6 uprights
Thanks Sam, who did nice research https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKOVZbZxieA&t=3s
Jesse who did a nice parts list

and Crash who confirmed that the front and rear uprights are the same.

I did a proof of concept, with just the brake calipers, and YES it all bolts together and fits (barely) within my 18in wheels!

Visually it looks killer, and as per the research that Jesse did, it will be better at handling heat soak.

Its a cheaper setup that the cost of C6 Z06 calipers and brake pads/pucks are MUCH cheaper!

Next I get the correct rotors.
